New Adobe AIR Logo
November 15th, 2007 by Ryan StewartMike Chambers just unveiled the new logo for Adobe AIR. This is the final logo and we tried to incorporate a lot of what AIR is into it. As Mike says:
Adobe AIR is built on top of three core web technologies (HTML, Flash and PDF), and we wanted the logo to represent this. Thus, each corner of the logo represents one of these core technologies.
Enjoy the new logo:

I like the logo when it’s displayed big. But as a desktop icon it has to low contrast. It could be better if there is a special desktop icon version with bigger outlines.
logo is pretty good i think.
Three rounded corners around a round void :-p
Nice logo, seriously now.
Nice logo , bigger outlines make it better i think
This is logo is better, congratulations!
So, you guys just took the logo of ubuntu and merged the circles and the ring? How creative.
Check it out.
So good. Wanna be a developer
Didn’t Gateway have a logo similar to this at one time:

Just don’t make a mouse pad in that shape. Gateway did and the shape is pretty useless.
Perfect, it looks like a valve handle – I’m guessing this was intentional. Also, if the handle were allowed to rotate, it would turn counterclockwise (”lefty loosie”), which would open the valve and release the AIR. Though, Adobe ‘Adobe Integrated Runtime’ seems a bit a bit redundant.
