Ignite the Web! Event in Seattle
June 27th, 2007 by Mike ChambersWe have just updated the evening agenda for the Seattle bus tour event (July 10th). We will be hosting an Ignite type event which we are calling Ignite the Web!. The Ignite events are based on the Ignite Seattle! events where presenters are given 5 minutes to go through 20 slides, with 15 seconds on each slide (oh, and the presenters don’t control their slides). As you can imagine, this leads to some very focused (and always) entertaining presentations.
Both the Adobe AIR conference during the day, and Ignite event in the evening are free, and we will be providing food and drinks between the day and evening sessions. So, if you were planning on attending one or the other, consider hanging around for both.
The event is not just focused on the Adobe Integrated Runtime, but on the web in general. Adobe will be providing the venue, schwag, prizes for best presentations and drinks and food.
If you are interested in giving a 5 minute presentation, then ping Ryan Stewart who is organizing the event.
You can find more details including the schedule on the Seattle event page. If you are planning on attending, make sure to register early, before the event fills up.
