New York City AIR Camp is now sold out and we wont be taking any more registrations for it. Technically, all of the events are sold out, but we all a little over subscription to account for the no shows (which means if you are interested in attending any of the remaining events, you need to register ASAP).

The last leg of the tour includes New York City, Toronto, Minneapolis and Chicago.

We had a great time in Pittsburgh. It was a solid event and we even went to Primanti Brothers afterwards for some giant sandwiches with cole-slaw. We just saw that a few of the people from the Pittsburgh Flash user group captured the day on video and had to share it. Go check it out. Thanks for a great time!

Last night we were in Cincinnati, which was the half way point of the North American portion of the bus tour. The event went really well, and we had a really good turnout (had to bring in some more seating). It was held in an old church and the only issue that we ran into was that the microphone system kept going down because we kept blowing fuses (I guess the church’s wiring system wasn’t made to handle 60 laptops being plugged in at once).

For the third leg of the tour we’ve been taking a lot of video footage at the events and I’m going through the process of encoding it and posting them up on my Brightcove account. For the most part it’s just random stuff, but hopefully it gives you an idea of the venues and the things we think about when not doing AIR stuff.

The bus tour is in Atlanta today, and it has been going great thus far. Leif Wells spoke for a couple of minutes to let everyone know about all of the local Atlanta Users groups (5 Total!).

Just a quick reminder, but the second leg of the on AIR Bus tour starts today in Atlanta. Over the next 10 days we will be in 9 cities in the midwest and on the East coast talking about Adobe AIR.

Lee Brimelow and I have just posted an app that we put together while on the first leg of the bus tour.

The app is called flump (Flickr dump), and is a simple application that will download all of the public images from a Flickr account.

Lee Brimelow has posted a bunch of the raw video that he took on the bus and at events from the first leg of the bus tour. This will give you a bit of a feel for what it is like at the events and on the bus.

The bus is going to be making a detour between the Pittsburgh and Washington DC events to drive down to Raleigh, North Carolina for a mini AIR Camp / User group meeting. We will be bringing down the entire bus and crew (including schwag) for a night of sessions on Adobe AIR.

Just a quick note, but we have had to move the start time for the Philadelphia AIR Camp event from 5:15 to 6:30. The agenda hasn’t changed, but all of the times have shifted back.
