Well, we are finally in Madrid, and are ready for the first event of the on AIR European tour. I was just over at the venue where they are still setting everything up, and wanted to post some quick information for anyone coming to the event tomorrow.

Thursday, March 27th, 2008 by Mike Chambers

Well, the European leg of the on AIR tour starts next week in Madrid. We are really excited to be on the road for the events again, and meet with all of the developers interested in Adobe AIR. Anyways, just as on the first leg of the tour, you can keep up with everything going on with the tour in a couple of ways.

Here is a list of the tour feeds:

Scotch on AIR : April 11 in Dublin

Thursday, March 27th, 2008 by Mike Chambers

As we posted a couple of weeks ago, we had to postpone the Dublin event. This was a hard decision to make, especially because registration on the first leg has been so high, but circumstances conspired against us. However, the guys from the Scotch on the Rocks conference have gotten together with the Dublin Adobe User group, and are putting on a half day event on Flex and Adobe AIR in Dublin.

Paris is Sold Out (again)

Friday, March 21st, 2008 by Mike Chambers

Well, first it was sold out, and then it wasn’t, but this time is for real. After expanding the capacity for the Paris event, it has once again filled up. So, once again, the entire first leg of the on AIR Tour in Europe is sold out.

If you missed the first 5 cities, you still have a chance to get to the tour on its second leg. You can find a complete list of cities on the schedule page.

Paris Event Capacity Expanded

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008 by Mike Chambers

As I posted yesterday, the entire first leg of the tour has sold out. However, we have decided to expand the capacity for the Paris event, and re-open registration. We are looking into expanding the other events, but it doesn’t look like we will be able to at this point.

So, if you want to attend the free on AIR Tour in Paris event, make sure to sign up today. There is a good chance that it will quickly sell out / fill up again.

on AIR Europe : Leg 1 is Sold Out!

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008 by Mike Chambers

I just found out that the entire first leg of the on AIR Tour in Europe is sold out! We will not be accepting any more reservations for Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and London. If you are in Europe, and still want to go to one of the free all day events, you still have a chance to catch it on the second leg in Stockholm, Berlin, Warsaw, Prague, Munich or Milan (although those events are starting to fill up also).

We are also going to be tweaking the schedules for all of the events so we can make some room for additional sessions. Keep an eye on each individual city’s event page for the latest information.

Leg 1 Registration Update : London is in the lead!

Monday, March 10th, 2008 by Mike Chambers

Well, we are about 3 weeks away from the start of the first leg of the on AIR Tour in Europe. Most of the details are taken care of, and aside from a couple of tweaks, the agendas are looking good. We have been really blown away by how quick the registrations have been filling up, and we are getting close to selling out a couple of the venues.

So, which city / country is leading the charge in registrations? Here are the cities from leg 1 ranked in order of registration numbers:

Dublin Event Postponed

Sunday, March 9th, 2008 by Mike Chambers

Due to some logistics issues, we are having to postpone the on AIR Tour event for Dublin. We don’t have a new date for the event, but will be working closely with the local user group in Dublin. The website schedule has been updated, and we are no longer taking registrations for Dublin

This is really unfortunate, as registration for the first leg has been very high (much higher than we expected at this point), and we are getting close to selling out London and Paris (with Amsterdam and Madrid not that far behind). Ill make another post shortly with an update on registration.
