Couple of items for Madrid

March 30th, 2008 by Mike Chambers

Well, we are finally in Madrid, and are ready for the first event of the on AIR European tour. I was just over at the venue where they are still setting everything up, and wanted to post some quick information for anyone coming to the event tomorrow.

The event is at:

Moma 56 / 31 March
C/ José Abascal, 56
28003-Madrid

You can view a map here.

Doors open at 9:15 AM, with the keynote starting at 10 AM.

Parking can be a bit of a hassle at the venue (Momo 56), so if you can, I suggest that you take the Metro (the closest stop is Gregorio Maranon). If you have to drive, give yourself time to find parking. We should also be Aarca Coches service available.

If you blog about the event, or upload any pictures, please make sure to use the following tags : onairtour onair2008madrid. We will use these to get the content on the Madrid event page.

Here is a quick video I made with an update on what is going on:

Finally, the event is sold out, so the venue is probably going to be pretty crowded. If you have any problems or issues at the event, jsut find me, or one of the other speakers, and we will try and take care of it.

Here is a quick walkthrough of the venue:

See everyone in the morning.

Update : Forgot to mention that we will have wireless and power, so you should be able to stay charged up and online during the event.
