Video from the Pittsburgh Stop

Tuesday, August 21st, 2007 by Ryan Stewart

We had a great time in Pittsburgh. It was a solid event and we even went to Primanti Brothers afterwards for some giant sandwiches with cole-slaw. We just saw that a few of the people from the Pittsburgh Flash user group captured the day on video and had to share it. Go check it out. Thanks for a great time!

Half Way Point of North American Bus Tour

Friday, August 17th, 2007 by Mike Chambers

Last night we were in Cincinnati, which was the half way point of the North American portion of the bus tour. The event went really well, and we had a really good turnout (had to bring in some more seating). It was held in an old church and the only issue that we ran into was that the microphone system kept going down because we kept blowing fuses (I guess the church’s wiring system wasn’t made to handle 60 laptops being plugged in at once).

Some of the highlights of the tour thus far:

Video Footage from the Bus Tour

Friday, August 17th, 2007 by Ryan Stewart

For the third leg of the tour we’ve been taking a lot of video footage at the events and I’m going through the process of encoding it and posting them up on my Brightcove account. For the most part it’s just random stuff, but hopefully it gives you an idea of the venues and the things we think about when not doing AIR stuff.

We just finished up the first leg of the bus tour which was a huge success. We will be posting a more in-depth recap as soon as we take a couple of days to recuperate.

The 12 Hour Marathon

Wednesday, July 18th, 2007 by Ryan Stewart

Huge thanks to everyone who attended the Los Angeles event. It was the largest so far by attendance and it lasted over 12 hours with a lot of people still sticking around until the very end while the mini presentations were going on. This venue was probably my least favorite out of all of them, but we did have an entire auditorium to ourselves, so I think for the people watching it must have been more comfortable.

The food in Los Angeles was also really good. They had a ton of stuff for us to eat throughout the whole day. It consisted of things like poppers, pretzels, a nacho cheese machine that you could use to create nachos, grilled items for lunch and a spread of fruit, cookies and other thing from throughout the day. It wasn’t all good for us, but it tasted great. This is why we’re doing a weight loss competition on the next leg. Thanks to all that attended. Below are some blog-thoughts on the event.
