The Bus is a 2003 Prevost Le Mirage, Entertainer that sleeps 12. It has a pretty standard configuration, but we have plans for heavy modifications. It is currently located in Florence, Alabama waiting to be wrapped.

Dion Almaer

Dion is the co- founder of Ajaxian.com, the leading Ajax community, and "Audible Ajax" the popular podcast. He works in the Google Developer Programs group where he spends his time in the land of code.google.com and podcasting via the "Google Developer Podcast". He enjoys writing, having co-authored "Pragmatic Ajax", and speaking at events around the world.

Chris Brichford

Christopher Brichford is a Senior Computer Scientist on the Adobe AIR team working on HTML support in Adobe AIR. Chris has been with the Adobe AIR team since its inception, in August of 2005. Chris has worked for Adobe for a total of about 6 years.

Lee Brimelow

Lee Brimelow is a Senior Design Technologist with frog design and an award-winning interactive designer. He has worked for companies such as America Online, Netscape, and eBay as well as Stanford University. He has a passion for developing new and innovative ways of using Flash and WPF to create rich user experiences. He runs two popular technology blogs at theFlashBlog.com and theWPFblog.com, produces the free Flash tutorial resource at gotoAndLearn.com, and has a regular column on Flash in Layers magazine and is a contributing author to MSDN magazine. Lee is the author of several titles for Lynda.com including Flash Professional 8 Video Integration and After Effects 7 + Flash 8 Integration.

Christian Cantrell

Christian Cantrell is a Product Manager and Application Developer on the AIR team at Adobe. He has been with Adobe (and formerly Macromedia) for close to five years doing everything from evangelism to development of applications like MXNA. He has been a web developer for the last eight years, and is now using Flex, HTML, and JavaScript to write desktop AIR applications. Christian loves open-source software, and open sources almost all the code he writes. While not on the clock, he writes about watches and other gadgets for various publications.

Mike Chambers

Mike Chambers has spent the last eight years building applications that target the Flash runtime. During that time, he has worked with numerous technologies including Flash, Generator, .NET, Central, Flex, and Ajax. He is currently the senior product manager for developer relations for the Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR). He has written and spoken extensively on Flash and Rich Internet Application development and is co-author of the Adobe Integrated Runtime Pocketguide for JavaScript, Apollo for Adobe Flex Developers Pocket Guide, Flash Enabled: Flash Design and Development for Devices as well as Generator and Flash Demystified.

Andre Charland

Andre Charland co-founded Nitobi in 1998 after working for several other Internet start-ups. As President and CEO, he is directly involved in software development and has successfully executed over 100 development projects. Charland was also an early proponent of the building blocks of Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML), the leading technology for web application development. Charland has spoken widely on Ajax, blogging, and web usability and is currently co-authoring a book on Enterprise Ajax for Addison Wesley. He has been quoted internationally in the media on blogging for business, and maintains his own blog at http://captainajax.com. Charland studied at Simon Fraser University with a major in Business Administration and Computer Science, and is on the Board of BALLE BC and co-founder of the Social Tech Brewing Co. .

Mike Downey

Mike Downey is Group Manager of Platform Evangelism at Adobe Systems focusing on Adobe's new Apollo project. Mike joined the Apollo team as Sr. Product Manager in December of 2006 before moving to his new role. Before joining the Apollo team Mike was Sr. Product Manager for Flash. Since joining Macromedia in 2000, which merged with Adobe Systems in December of 2005, Mike has been a prominent figure in the Flash community and has spoken at conferences throughout the world. With a passion for web technology, working with customers to understand their technology and business challenges, and building great software, Mike aims to work with his talented team and user community to make software that can change the world.

Daniel Dura

Currently based in San Francisco, California, Daniel Dura is a Platform Evangelist at Adobe focusing on Apollo and Flash. Before joining Macromedia (which merged with Adobe in 2005) Daniel and his brother Josh founded Dura Media LLC, a Rich Internet Application development company based in Dallas, Texas. While at Adobe, he was a member of the Central and Flex teams, as well as a Product Manager for Developer Relations.

Adam Flater

Adam Flater is a Software Architect for effectiveUI. His background is as a java developer, both for web and desktop applications. Adam has been working in Flex user interface and server development since the beta release of Flex 2.0. Adam was the lead developer on the ActionScript SDK for eBay’s Web Services. Recently, Adam presented the SDK at the eBay Developer’s Conference. Adam is a co-creator of Artemis, which is a java bridge to flash at the desktop. In his free time Adam enjoys playing the piano and the electric keyboard.

Ben Forta

Ben Forta is Adobe Systems Inc's Senior Technical Evangelist. In that capacity he gets to spend a considerable amount of time talking and writing about Adobe products (with an emphasis on ColdFusion and Flex), and providing feedback to help shape the future direction of the products. By the way, if you are not yet a ColdFusion user, you should be. It is an incredible product, and is truly deserving of all the praise it has been receiving. In a prior life Ben was a ColdFusion customer (I wrote one of the first large high visibility web sites using the product) and was so impressed I ended up working for the company that created it (Allaire). Ben is also the author of books on ColdFusion, SQL, Windows 2000, JSP, WAP, Regular Expressions, and more. Ben's books have been translated into 15 languages.

Kevin Hoyt

Kevin Hoyt is a Platform Evangelist with Adobe Systems, Inc. Passionate about engaging user experiences, you'll most often find him meeting with customers, speaking at conferences, presenting online seminars, or just enjoying the chance to share ideas and brainstorm with other developers. When not on the road, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, photography and general aviation.

Chafic Kazoun

Chafic Kazoun is the Founder and CTO of Atellis, a Washington, D.C. based firm that specializes in developing Rich Internet Applications and Products. At Atellis Chafic manages, architects, and develops next generation applications and components. Chafic has been working with Flash technologies since 1998, has delivered presentations at numerous conferences, and has contributed to published works. He is also an Adobe Community Expert, the author of the book Programming Flex 2.0 by O'Reilly, and maintains a weblog at rewindlife.com.

Alan Lewis

Alan Lewis is the product manager of the eBay San Dimas project. Previously at eBay, Alan was a web services evangelist and a technical writer for the eBay web services platform. Alan has worked in technology since graduating from UCSB with a degree in philosophy. He blogs at http://alanlewis.typepad.com and is also the owner of 5 guinea pigs.

Kevin Lynch

Kevin leads Adobe’s Platform Business Unit, which is focused on advancing the company’s software platform for the creation and delivery of engaging applications and content to any desktop or device. Lynch is responsible for the company’s ubiquitous Portable Document Format (PDF), Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash Player, and the Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR), as well as alignment of Adobe’s servers and tools with the company’s technology platform. Lynch also oversees Adobe’s developer relations program, including the integration of customers and partners in the development process through Adobe Labs and customer advisory councils.

Ted Patrick

Ted Patrick is a Technical Evangelist for Flex at Adobe Systems. He worked with Flash since FutureSplash Animator and watched its evolution from animation to application. Ted helped Macromedia/Adobe with the development of ActionScript 3, AVM2, ASC compiler, and Flash Player 9 for some 18 months prior to Flex 2’s release. Prior to joining Adobe in May 2006, he provided consulting services at PowerSDK Software and Cynergy Systems. Ted is a serial entrepreneur having successfully started-up 4 times and raised over 7 Million in VC funding for companies he founded. 3 companies have been successfully sold to other businesses and one was sold to a publicly traded company in 2001. Ted is actively involved in the Flex development community and works at Adobe to define the future of rich media.

Mark Piller

Mark Piller is the founder and CEO of Midnight Coders, an innovative and forward-thinking company specializing in RIA integration technologies. Mark has two primary passions in life: creating disruptive technologies developers love to use and raising his five year old son. The latest technological achievement of Midnight Coders is WebORB, its flagship product and a platform for developing and running Flex/Flash/AJAX-based applications. Dubbed as 'FDS for .NET', the product closes the gap between Flex clients and server-side .NET applications.

Doug Schmidt

Doug has recently joined the development team of EffectiveUI. Doug has worked as a developer for over 20 yrs. He cut his teeth on embedded C++ systems in the 90's, including the digital audio recorder used by U2, the Beastie Boys, Bob Dylan, and Beck (to name drop just a bit). He then did a bunch of C# and .NET stuff at Kodak, and now does freelance work in the Vancouver area.

Robert Scoble

Robert Scoble is an American blogger, technical evangelist, and author. Scoble is best known for his popular blog, Scobleizer, which came to prominence during his tenure as a technical evangelist at Microsoft. He is married to Maryam Ghaemmaghami Scoble, and has a son, Patrick. He and his wife currently work at PodTech.net a video-podcast startup. He is also the co-author of Naked Conversations: How Blogs are Changing the Way Businesses Talk with Customers with Shel Israel.

Grant Skinner

Grant Skinner is the CEO and chief architect of gskinner.com, a Flash development and consulting company. He works with leading new media agencies and progressive corporate clients to create cutting-edge applications, games, and multimedia pieces. His expertise in fusing coding with interface design, usability, marketing, and business logic has garnered him international acclaim and resulted in a number of prestigious industry awards, including Best Canadian Developer at FITC 2005. Ryan Stewart is an RIA Evangelist at Adobe and an avid Rich Internet Application blogger on both his personal blog and a blog on ZDNet. He has been doing Flex development for about 3 years and tracking Rich Internet Applications for 2 years.
